Okay, sounds like a patriotic thing to do. Or as Sam the Eagle would say in "The Muppet Christmas Carol" and "The Great Muppet Caper": "It is the American way" and "It's times like these, I'm proud to be an American."
I was. I just went back to add some 20th Century Fox films to the wiki that came post-April 2019. And Alex did delete some 20th Century Fox film pages on Disney Wiki, but I was doing just like Hey1234 would tell me to, regarding post-2019 Fox on Disney Wiki. It's just for that and nothing else.
To be perfectly honest, he just is not the fun user to be around when he gets worried that other users would get carried away with posting Fox articles on Disney Wiki, despite Hey1234 saying it's okay as long as it's according to the Manual of Style and post-2019 only. It's like Alex doesn't enjoy it and doesn't trust other users who would do Fox articles on Disney Wiki (no pre-2019 allowed).
Well, look at it this way, Max. No matter how hard you try to contribute to the Disney Wiki to do your best, you will always get nothing but warnings and reprimands from admins; especially, Alex from now on. There was a time when we could do just about anything, but now, things are more complicated. So, it's best to just let the Disney wiki go in my opinion.
I know. I have some mixed feelings about it. I mean, it does make sense to not confuse the readers with certain characters who switch sides from bad to good and vice versa, but on the other hand, it might affect how the users would read the infoboxes with the characters they interacted, whether it's a good friend or the bad worst enemy in a continuity of their lives.
At least, the Pink Elephants were less freaky and Mrs. J's capture was less cruel and violent.
Talk about a Tim Burton movie with role reversals for both Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito. This time, DeVito is the good guy while Keaton is the bad guy unlike in Batman Returns.
You know, this movie is the second Tim Burton film to star Danny DeVito playing the role of a ringmaster, after 2003's Big Fish. Coincidentally, in Big Fish, DeVito's character had the ability to transform into a werewolf on a full moon whereas in Dumbo, a supposed "werewolf" was seen on display at the Nightmare Island attraction in Dreamland.
And Mrs. J's cruel nickname "Kali the Destroyer" is a reference to Kali the Hindu Goddess of Death, given her species' country origin and the fact that her actions in the ring led to the unintentional death of her abusive handler.
Now that I think of it, Dumbo's actual birth in the 2019 movie is similar to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer's birth. Both of them being unique children with special skills and talents.
Btw, the abusive handler who got killed at the beginning of the movie is a combination of both Smitty the bully and the Ringmaster. First, he grabs, pulls, and blows on Dumbo's ears while saying: "Boo!" (something Smitty didn't say, of course), then, he gets doused into a water tub by Mrs. Jumbo like the Ringmaster.
7 years since Falcone has had his 98 pics in his page on the Disney Wiki and now some amateur user named AKR619 removes a few of them. I try undoing the edit and Alex chooses to revert it back to AKR's version.
AKR619 is the same guy who removed a few of Malsinger's pics on the Disney Wiki only yesterday too, btw. Which is why I had to add his page and pics on my wiki yesterday.
I tried undoing his edit on Malsinger today and so far so good. No interference from Alex up till now.
Good thing I added Falcone and his pics on my wiki months ago when I had the chance though. Same for yesterday with Malsinger. Otherwise, I'd really be pissed off.
I'm surprised Alex took that amateur's side today despite all the warning messages left on his wall by admins though.
Second, if you go to the list of homages in Disney shows AND the list of non-Disney homages in Disney shows, you'd be surprised what homages I found in DuckTales 2017 and uploaded so far. More will come someday.
According to a fandom user, peter pan homages another scene in alice in wonderland. Since you are such an AIW expert, do you suppose you know what scene could be? The bracketed code things offer links that lead to images with different names that were unfortunately deleted by admins in the Disney Wiki months ago.
Just when I thought I could've be the first to upload some other cameos in Wreck-It Ralph 2 in the cameo list, turns out they already existed in the movie page's gallery but nobody had the brains or audacity to add them in the cameo list themselves, therefore, I was unaware at the time. Unbelievable. And he actually expected me to take a guess and rather than to add them himself, I had to do it instead because he doesn't "correct errors" or "does dependence" and probably thinks I'm lazy, which apparently he does almost everyday (the correcting thing), then he left this message on my wall.
But so as not to make things worse, I said nothing. I only said: "Ok." and that was it. And between you and I, it wasn't even sincere.
And please, don't say anything to him either, please.
You know, I'm glad I created those Darby O'Gill characters and actors on my wiki when I had the chance considering Alex deleted most of the actors that played in that movie including Janet Munro who also played in Swiss Family Robinson from Dec 3 till today.
It's disgraceful, really. Suddenly, I feel like I don't know that wiki anymore even though I don't contribute to it anymore.
Plus, I don't see how does signing Joseph St. Pierre a.k.a. Byzantinefire's petition about making the Disney Wiki friendlier and more tolerant help out as well despite many signatures so far as well. What's the point there too?
Still, we know what to do. Simply contribute on this wiki here every now and then when we can and have time, provided we don't wait or hesitate too long.
The more we wait and contribute less, the more pages on the Disney Wiki get deleted almost every day. I, myself, was lucky with creating Darby O'Gill characters and actors and other actors/actresses and characters on my wiki before their recent deletions on the other wiki this time but next time, I might not be. Who knows?
Btw, now SilverFlight deleted Bill Owen on the Disney Wiki even though he had only one Disney role as Will Stutely in Disney's The Story of Robin Hood and his Merrie Men.
Now yesterday, some idiot user tried removing the link to that actor's page on both the movie and character pages BUT the actor's page still existed, so, I tried reversing it and then, next thing you know, SilverFlight does the honours of both re-reversing my edits and finally deleting the actor's page in the end.
Good thing I created The Story of Robin Hood and his Merrie Men actors and characters on my wiki weeks ago when I had the chance because I eventually knew that because most actors from that movie had either 1 or only a few roles in Disney, they would be deleted later on. So what did I do? I took precautions and added them on my wiki instead.
This already happened with Darby O'Gill and the Little People before and after deleting a few actor pages, so, I wasn't going to let it happen again.
I even did it because I was in fact, the one who somehow created the Robin Hood and his Merrie Men character pages and I wasn't ready to lose anything from either of them this time.
The admins are treating actor pages like the Hydra, only in this case, cut off one head and more will fall later on instead. Delete one actor page and more will be deleted eventually with time either tomorrow or next week/month.
Well, you know, us autistics don't really approve of changes sometimes. Plus what can you expect from a couple of stubborn admin ignorants? The Disney Wiki used to be a family thing but now these changes are tearing them apart. First, anti-photospam, then anti-conjunctions, then anti-"he/she was voiced/portrayed by", anti-homages and recurring scenes, and now anti-stub articles.
As the Joker would say: "Where's the fun in that?"
Anw, what do we care? We haven't really contributed on that wiki since the homages and the recurring scenes... That's why I created and we have this wiki to depend on now. And don't you forget it either. :)
And here I thought the British like Alex were supposed to be kind, proper gentle people who could afford more manners and politeness rather than temper, carelessness, rudeness, and selfishness but no, Alex and now this Rib guy proved me wrong.
And here some people have the nerve to call my people and I terrorists and barbarians when in fact the British are the real monsters in the end.
At this rate, I'm beginning to wish all those tyrants had actually conquered England: Julius Caesar, Robert the Bruce, William Wallace, Napoleon Bonaparte, Adolf Hitler, and so on. Maybe then, they would've grown some brains afterwards.
It's official. The Disney Wiki no longer accepts authors and writers like Robert Louis Stevenson, Charles Dickens,.... just like with the composers. Not to mention the actors with minor Disney roles too. :(
They did a few months ago with a few unfortunately. I was lucky to upload them again here on my wiki. Like those Mickey Mouse vampire pictures that were also used inHouse of Villains for example. SilverFlight deleted a few, I had to get snapshots again, and then upload them here on this wiki for the list.
